The cover of this 4.5" x 3.5" mini book features original hand marbled paper in an Italian Vein pattern over-marbled on a vintage aeronautical map. It is filled with 80lb mixed media paper (two signatures of 11 sheets each for 88 total pages, front & back). The book is stitched in a Paired Diagonals pattern and the inside covers are finished with cerulean blue Canson Mi Tientes paper.
This little pocket-sized book is perfect for sketching, collage or paint and it would be equally wonderful as a day journal, memory book or travel journal. For other ways to use your new blank book, please visit my web site at http://onejanuaryday.com/blank-book-ideas/.
All of my books involve many steps - from hand-marbling the cover papers, to assembling the covers and cutting the pages, to carefully stitching the whole thing together in a fun and complimentary pattern. I take great pride in crafting unique, high quality and beautiful products that I know you will treasure.
This book is one of a kind and part of a series of 100 books I'm working on - it is numbered (78/100) on the inside back cover.
