Biscayne Bay Lily Pads Original Marbled Acrylic Abstract Art Painting

This piece was named for a 1983 art installation in which the 11 islands in Biscayne Bay were surrounded with 6.5 million square feet of hot pink fabric.

This original acrylic marbled painting is part of my "Explore" series and is titled "Biscayne Bay Lili Pads." It was created on Texoprint paper with acrylic paint on a carrageenan bath and is mounted on a 6" x 6" birch cradle panel, so it can be hung without a frame. The piece is signed and dated on the right side panel.
